Its diameter is about 3/8 to 3/4 inch diameter about an inch long. It has a solid white component which is probably the urine, balance grayish brown. It is left left on the surface of concrete and no evidence of attempts of it being buried in adjacent soft soil. It is under fruit trees mango, desert plum and guava. Bird or lizard, but which for my locale, Baja Sur Mexico . Links to likely pictures worth more points.
shape is the scat? diameter meant to infer round. Flat on one end? Picture not available.white may not be urine… it could be bone (Liquified not solid)

I’m sorry, but YOU are the one that needs to post a picture if you want a good identification of the scat. Also, you cannot award extra points.

We need more info. What shape is the scat? Pointed at both ends? Flat on one end? Picture, please. Also, the white may not be urine… it could be bone.

    Edit:
Still not enough info, though I’m not an expert on the critters of that region. From the size, and the fact that it’s cylindrical, it seems to me that it’s more likely a mammal, rather than a bird or reptile. Possibly a fox (they like to leave scat in obvious places for all to see). Did it have any fur in it, or anything at all identifiable (pieces of bone, seeds or other plant material, etc)? I don’t suppose you broke it apart or took a good smell (some animal’s scat have very distinctive odors)? You might try asking this question at allexperts ( http://www.allexperts.com/ ). I’ve had some difficult questions successfully answered there in the past, that nobody on YA was able to answer.
