I have a plastic bird bath; it’s much easier to clean than plastic, and cleanliness is very important, to keep birds from getting infected with a wide variety of organisms. The one I have came from Wild Birds Unlimited; it’s heated in the winter (I was living in Colorado at the time). That’s great because birds need water all year round, and you may attract quite a few birds if you’re the only one in the neighborhood offering LIQUID water!!
