There are birds nesting on TV dish, what should I do?

There is a bird nesting on my Sky TV dish on the metal bar. It isnt very big and the other bird keeps trying to put twigs up there but it isnt working. There is concrete below and I don’t want the birds to come to any harm. They have been there around 3 days and she hasn’t had any eggs yet. We also have a cat. What should I do? PLEASE HELP 10 POINTS FOR BEST ANSWER!

    I would remove the nest..if they insist on rebuilding there, maybe you could move it to a sturdier spot close by. I had to move a nest a couple of years ago when robins built on my ladder in my garden shed..just moved the nest a couple of feet and she set upon the eggs just fine. The following year she was back. It is rather interesting watching the progress of the eggs/babies, so if you can keep the nest close to a window/sill that would be great.

    If you can hang something shiny like alumnium pie pans on the dish, that should scare them away.
