A pet owner brings bird’s home because their beauty beguiles him. This beauty of birds has to be complemented by equally beautiful bird cages. There is no shortage of patterns for cages. The roofs of the cages may be variously arch-dome shaped, round dome shaped, flat, slope, conical, or play top. Even bird cages with ornate, decorative roofs, variously named Victorian or Valentine, are available in the market. Such cages often suit the aesthetic preferences of people who would like to have their bird cage to match their home pattern.

There will be a main door in all bird cages that can be kept fully locked. Besides that, there will be 2 or more feeder doors, and a grate and a bottom tray that can be slid out and replaced. The main door may open to the side or to the top. Except for very small cages that are designed to be hung around a home, all other bird cages come fitted with casters that make their transporting easy. Some are designed to be removed from the stand and carried by hand when necessary. With various combinations and sizes to choose from, the choice of most bird owners would have to depend on the size of the bird, and the space in their home where they hope to accommodate the cage.

One way of beautifying bird cages is by setting up perches, steps, and toys within the cage with the eye of an interior decorator. Readymade bird cages will have built in perches but users can increase the number of perches with natural twigs and branches, which will give a realistic, touch to the cage and will make the bird more comfortable. Unlike the built-in perch, the additional perches can be rearranged frequently to give a fresh look to the cage.

Keeping small colorful steps, made of cardboard or steel and stuck with colored papers, will make the bird cages attractive and will give some exercise to the bird as it will hop up and down those steps. Those who attempt to accommodate such addenda should also have the patience to redo it frequently since the birds will easily damage such paper objects by tearing at them with their beak and by spilling food and drink over it. Flowers on the perches will also beautify bird cages. When keeping flowers, whether natural or artificial, it should be confirmed beforehand that chewing them are not likely create any allergic or other negative reactions in the bird.

A caged bird is deprived of the natural ponds and puddles in which it can dunk now and then. Getting birdbaths can make this up. Colorful plastic bird baths are available that can be attached to the horizontal bars of the bird cages. These will satisfy the bird and beautify the cage at the same time. Attachable birdbaths will have locking clips with which they can be clipped and removed from the cage as necessary. And those who are innovative can use many leftover knickknacks of their home, and wild growth of the yard, to decorate and beautify their bird cages.

Garden is a part of your home that you can relax and inhale good and fresh air. It is also a place where the children can enjoy and have fun. So it is good if you have a garden that can give you a beautiful feeling to stay with.

When your garden have the flowers that are blooming and green trees in a nicely planted, but yet you still want something unique thing that needs to be added to your garden, then, statue is a good additional view to it and you can find many beautiful pieces that you can purchase to add to your beautiful garden. If you do not like the options, you can create your own style. You can choose between various materials such as garden stone statue, wood, resin, metal sculpture and concrete.

Make sure that you select a statue in the garden that is fashionable. You have unlimited choices for the shapes, what kind of form, characters and even angels. The statue might be preferred based from the theme. Fairy theme can be used in the garden, which can build your garden more appealing to the children. Make use of the theme to make your children love the site to have their fun there. You may also use birds and animal statues to your garden.

The laughing Buddha is also a good choice of statue which can make the garden away from the negative energies. The child with a statue of sunflower is also a nice add-on to your garden. Sculpture Garden and statuettes flower are the good choice for nature lovers.

The materials that are used for the garden statues were the ones who can handle the weather. The stone garden statue are generally used because they are more weather resistant compared to other materials. The resin materials are gaining popularity these days for the garden statues. These bronze Sculpture Garden were expensive, but they can withstand the bad weather conditions. The concrete as well as the cement were less expensive when compared to the other materials for the statue, but are not sustainable. They are not able to handle the wearing and tearing weather conditions.

The garden statue will look more attractive if it is placed in the garden. And the size must also be based on the garden. A large statue in the small garden or small statue on the corner of a large garden will not give you a beautiful and balanced decoration; it will look bad, because it is not balanced with the size.

Bird watching has become a backyard hobby for many people and bird feeders are the best way to attract these birds. Different birds are attracted to different seeds. Acorns, for example, attract chickadees, jays, quails, and woodpeckers. Millet, on the other hand, attracts doves, finches, pheasants, native sparrows, and Carolina wrens.

Seeds from a black locust tree will attract quail while magnolias will draw in towhees, red-eyed vireos, and woodpeckers. Willows, on the other hand, will bring in grosbeaks, grouse, and redpolls. One of the newer technologies in bird feeding is the tube feeder. These tubes are easy to use and release seeds slower than other methods, so they save you money. Also, larger birds with bigger appetites do not use tube feeders. Solidified bacon fat, interestingly, will attract several species of birds including bluebirds, jays, and ravens. A collection of bird species love insects such as ants and an anthill can be a very attractive backyard feature.

Hummingbirds and orioles are drawn to aloes and agaves while amaranth attracts juncos and tree sparrows. On the other hand, bluebirds, catbirds, great crested flycatchers, jays, mockingbirds, tanagers, thrashers, thrushes, and waxwings like amelanchier (juneberry, shadblow, shadbush, and serviceberry) and make a good looking addition to any yard. Versatile and attractive, amelanchier species can be found anywhere in North America.

Both humans and birds like berries, especially ripening blackberries. The best time to offer these in your feeder is when they can’t be found anywhere else. The winter season creates a demand greater than the supply. Strawberries will attract catbirds, prairie chickens, crows, grouse, quails, robins, and sparrows while raspberries will attract bobwhites, bluebirds, buntings, chickadees, orioles, band-tailed pigeons, titmice, and waxwings.

A bird-friendly backyard is likely to be attractive to birds looking to raise a family. The friendly attributes include sources of water, food, grit, and salt. Predator control includes keeping your felines away from the birds and keeping snakes, raccoons, and opossums out of your yard. Sufficient covering is needed for a roosting place and nest sites. If you have cats it is important to keep at least three yards of short grass around the bird bath so the bird can spot the cat and get away in time. From inside, cats can still enjoy the birds by perching on their favorite piece of furniture (available at www.catdograt.com) and viewing the feathered flyers without endangering them.

Bird baths are a successful way to attract birds, especially in the summer. These yard decorations have been popular for a hundred years. If you learn to chisel you can create baths from large rocks or boulders. A bird bath is a great place to focus your binoculars, if you have them. Bird watching is best if you can get one to feed out of your hand. Chickadees can be trained to feed from your palm. If you’d like to attract cardinals, grosbeaks, nuthatches, or titmice, get a sunflower. An excellent selection of bird feeders, bird houses, and bird baths can be found at www.decoryard.com.

By: Lois Roberts

There’s nothing more wonderful that getting back to nature, even in small doses. You can’t help feeling better and getting a better outlook on life, even in the worst of times, if you surround yourself with some of the beauty of nature. All you have to do is take the time to look. Most us hurry through our busy days without taking the time to “Smell The Roses.”

Some of the most beautiful creatures in nature are birds. They come in such beautiful colors and are so interesting to watch. By putting bird feeders, bird baths, and bird houses in your yard you will have constant access to these beautiful specimens of nature. If you have a garden with lots of colorful flowers birds will love you. These flowers provide them with food and shelter. If you provide them with some extra food and shelter, your garden will truly be a place they will return to year after year. Your yard could become their permanent year round home.

Birds are always attracted to water, they especially love moving water, such as water features. They will also flock to non-moving sources such as birdbaths. They will really love your yard if you add some of these features, and you’ll be glad you did. Birds are scared off by shiny objects, so make sure you use a non-reflective surface. The yard with a stone or resin birdbath will attract more birds than one that has birdbaths or water features made of metal. Having a combination of moving water and a bird bath is a great way to attract birds. There are some great specialty bird baths that are made to slowly bubble water up in the center of the bath like a fountain. The water stays in the bath an does not spray out, which could scare the birds, but it moves enough that the birds are attracted to it. Birds will be enticed to drink and play.

Be sure and take the time to watch the birds splashing around in the water, this can be a very enjoyable site indeed. With all the fun features you have provided for these beautiful little birds they will want to move right in to your garden and become a permanent resident. By adding birdhouses over time you can provide housing for plenty of birds to move in to stay. You should see birds of lots of different species and size. It is always better to have to many birdhouses than not enough to provide a place for all the birds that might want to call your place their home. If you don’t have enough housing this could cause some territory battles between our fine feathered friends.

Now that you have provided water and plenty of housing for our little friends, the last thing they will need is plenty of food. You will want to get lots of bird feeders and a variety of food. Different species of birds like different foods. By providing these you will be allowing yourself to enjoy all the different colors and sizes of these beautiful little creatures. This is very important in the winter since they will not have the flowers in your garden to help provide them with food. With your help they can survive even through the toughest months. By nature, birds tend to come back to to the same areas every year. With all of your love and care you will see the same birds year after year, plus many new ones will want to call your place home.

You will find that it is much better to put all your birdbath, feeders, and houses in the same area with your flowers, so the birds will stay in one section of your yard. By doing this you won’t have to clean up your entire yard, deck, or patio. Birds eating can make quite a mess of bird droppings. Make sure you put you bird community in an area where you can watch them easily from your windows. They will give you years of enjoyment.

Seating areas are a must in a well tended and landscaped garden, if only so that you and your visitors may sit back and enjoy the rewards of the work that you have put in. But finding a way to produce long lasting, strong, all weather seating that is as beautiful as it is functional isn’t always an easy job.

Wooden benches are a common choice for the garden, but as beautiful as they look, time will take their toll and they eventually rot. Plastic may well have a greater durability, but it is often lacking in looks, and may stand out as artificial in an otherwise beautiful and natural garden.

This is where our durable and easy to use concrete bench molds come in. Thanks to the ability to take a stain, and because of the numerous designs that they can carry, concrete benches can have all of the advantages of beautiful wooden benches, with the durability of plastic. They are ideal for the home DIY enthusiast as well as for commercial use, for our molds are made to the highest possible quality.

For those who are looking for a more modern look, there are football bench molds! These can be painted however you choose, including your own team’s colors, lending a modern and sporting look to a garden or home sports area. They would work particularly well placed around a school. At statuarymolds.com we also have the perfect accompaniment to your bench, in the form of concrete bird baths of varying heights and designs to beautify the area.

With ease of use in mind, the molds are fitted with large bolts and wing nuts to secure them, making opening and closing the mold a breeze. The specially designed tight seams ensure a smooth finish to your mold, minimizing the needed cleanup of the final product. This is a level of attention to detail that can be found nowhere else but the molds sold by statuarymolds.com.

The production process for our molds is also superior to alternatives that are available. Made only from virgin ABS, rather that the re-ground ABS that others use, guaranteeing its superior strength. Where a liner is present it is made from thick Cementex latex-the best latex available again ensuring a good durability and long working life.

The final touches that make these the best molds for your money are the metal support legs that are used, instead of the normal wooden legs, and the smooth external finish to the mold that makes handling and clean up easy and comfortable.

We pride ourselves in the level of customer service that we provide. All orders are aimed to shipped within five working days, and we make sure to have someone available to handle any problems or questions that may arise. If you don’t see what you would like but have in mind we will even work with you to try and accommodate your own design.

You are sure to find satisfaction when using molds from statuarymolds.com, the premium concrete mold producer.
