Hot hot hot hot day. 40c Degrees in my studio. Sparrows are lucky. They have outside bird baths. Sunny day, so Sparrow practice is in order. Hereabouts Sparrows are on the increase. During the 1960′s in England they were everywhere. Now, because of pesticides or what… they have had to crawl back from extinction in parts of Europe. Poor lil Sparry’s. These are mine. One of our raccoons must be exceptionally warm-blooded because she loves to lay on her stomach in our bird baths in an attempt to stay cool in the heat. She’s very tame and lets you get rather close, which is why I was able to get a pretty decent video of her lounging around on an incredibly hot June day. In typical fashion, our neighbors were making all kinds of noise outside, lol.
