I had a parakeet and about once a month a would put a shallow bowl of water out and eventually he would get in it and bathe. Other than that I don’t have any ideas.

What kind of bird is it by the way? I would just go up to the sink and gently massage them with my watered hands.

There is 4 things you can do.
    1. Take him/her to the vet or pet store and ask them if they can give him/her a bath.
    2. Get a rope or string and tie it to his/her leg and tie the other thing to something it can stand on and be tied on. Make shur you can untie this. The first one might be a better idea for you.
    3. Spray the bird with water and dry it off, make shur it is alot so it acctually cleans the bird!

    Hope I helped!! Good Luck!
4.Also you can keep a bowl in there so he/she can take a bath when it wants. Just make shur its not to much water or it can drowned:( I know Bad thought!!

Usually what I do with my love bird is take her in the bathroom (lol make sure you close the toilet lid so he doesn’t het in there xD) then I turn the facite on (just a small steam not a hole lot) then just kind of hold him gently and rub a little water on him and then dry him off with a paper towel or wash clothe.
I only do that when my bird hasn’t played in her water dish in awhile, she used ot not get in the water dish when we first got her (she was baby) but once sh got older she began to play in it. I haven’t done the sink bath in awhile b/c she has been giving herself bathes, but if yours is yong you might want to try it to keep his/her feathers nice and clean ^^ good luck xD

I own parakeets and some like taking baths and some others
just hate it all together. Don’t sweat it if this one doen’t take to
water. Forcing it to bath will make it nerveous and it will also
learn to HATE YOU in the end. Birds also hate an audiance sometimes. Leave it a bath half-full of water inside its cage and then leave it alone and walk away for awhile. Peek and see later if he’s checking out the bathwater on his own. He may investigate water on his own and learn to like it later.

    Some possibilities:
    * Put a bowl of water on the counter, and set the bird as near to it as (s)he is willing to be. Splash in the water and act like you’re having lots of fun. After a few repetitions of this over several days, the bird will probably come to investigate, especially if (s)he is strongly bonded to you.
    * If you have another bird that enjoys bathing, let the reluctant bather watch the other bird enjoy its bath. Birds usually mimic other birds.
    * Try lots of different forms of water. Some birds like only warm or cold water, some enjoy running water, some like the steam from a shower, and some like being gently misted with a spray bottle.

NEVER force your bird to do something it doesn’t like. Don’t spray your bird while it cowers away, dunk it in a bowl or sink, pour water over it, or otherwise torment it. The bird will then associate water with a negative experience, and will never choose to bathe on its own.

So does my cockatiel! I used to fill up the sink with lukewarm water and make her go in, splash water on her and then take her out. She hates that. Now, after I take a shower, I turn the water to lukewarm and bring her in the shower with me! I just take her in and put her on the floor and sit there with her. If she doesn’t feel like getting wet, she will not go by the water so I just put my hand in the water pressure to make it reach her till she’s wet. She doesn’t seem to mind it as much. anyway, thats what I do.
