i have Feather Glo Bird Bath Spray and i was wondering if it safe to use it on my baby bird that is 2 almost 3 weeks old. It’s feathers are coming in and i want to help keep them clean and healthy. can i use the spray, should i use water instead? what would you recommend? Thanks
btw, i don’t have the mother to clean the feathers. just me.

Neither! The baby is too young to be bathed. Wipe any extra dirty areas with a warm damp cloth if necessary and make sure you keep it warm in the brooder afterwards. As for keeping it’s feathers clean, give up now. Baby birds can be very messy. Any ratty feathers will molt during it’s jeuvenile molt to reveal a beautifully feathered bird.
