English Assignment: Writing a short story about nature?

Well for 8th Grade English, we went to look at an art piece called ‘Unbearable Lightness’ and its a concrete block with a twig leading up the top, with a tiny bird sitting at the tip. It’s displaying the controversy between the natural world and the industrial world (Bird = natural, concrete = industrial) And we have to write a short story about the industrial and natural world, but not about the art piece.
So my understand is that maybe i could write a story who lives in the city with her mum and she’s all glamorous, shopping everyday with her iphone and all new clothes and things, then goes to live with her dad by the seaside where shes away from technology, the city, shops and all the industrial world. Sound good?
