Do bird dropings cause holes in concrete if not washed off?

Everyone will think I’m nuts but I have a concrete drive that has been getting holes in it where there was none before. The holes appear when I wash the driveway. The drive is only 2 years old. I have a neighbor that harbors starlings and he provides gordes for housing, as many as 30 gordes hang from poles in his backyard. What else would cause the holes to appear?

Salt and de-icers do the most damage.

Seal your driveway with a concrete sealer by a reputable company(NOT Thompsons). This will prevent any more damage from whatever. It is probably the case that your concrete just needed to be sealed and is a coinsidence that your neighbor has these nasty birds. good luck. www. ugl.com/drylok/concreteprotector

like the guy said ,,you are washing the holes,,and you need to fill them,,before freezing weather

dude just because you sell the other brand ,, there is no reason to knock THOMPSONS
been in business 30 plus years and always had good luck with thompsons

SAlt and e-icers break up the concrete but you never notice it untill summer. Also a bad cocrete mix could be a problem there too.
